I found out after I moved to Phoenixville about how it was called free love valley. I also found out that on the corner of catfish Lane and Valley View there was a Man who hung himself and how Amanda shingle was murdered. Of course as a child I heard stories from a neighbor about the murder. I've seen a ghost on Valley View road and I've seen one on the corner of shenkel road and     cold springs. Very creepy area and like berks county it's pretty much all haunted in that area. Almost as soon as we moved in we experenced some strange incidents. My wife was Home alone sitting at the desk with our cat on top of the desk and our dog on the floor beside.
