Custom Search Ridgway, Pennsylvania Ghost Sightings Ridgway PAGE 1   2   3     Hi I grew up for a few years in the old Hyde club house just south of Ridgway on Hyde club road (from Ridgway take 219 south up bootjack Mountain then to german settlement road then left onto Glendale road which I imagine is still entirely dirt and mud. Drive for about two Miles and you are there). It was an old house built in the 1890's by Henry Hyde as a hunting Lodge or something like that. It's down a long dirt road     and in the middle of the woods - almost a perfect recipe for a horror movie! Turns out the house itself seems to be haunted or at least was when I lived in it. Around 1992 I was 13 and I saw or heard something on at least 3 separate occasions. I woke up to its loud (i had hard floors in my bedroom) footsteps on two separate nights the first time catching a very brief glimpse of a short white figure. On the third occasion I was in bed on a Sunday morning and the Sun was up. I heard creaking in the hallway (the floors in our house often creaked as old   (continued on the next page...)
