The ghost of a destitute man has supposedly been seen on many occasions on the shore of Barnes Lake clutching a human cranium.

The phantom of a young cowboy may be noticed very often in the backseat of a Toyota by the driver setting eyes on the ghost in her
 
    rear view mirror around midnight.

A frightening being has now and then been observed raking leaves in the back garden of a mobile home in Rillton. Folks argue that this ghost is the undeparted spirit of a former Rillton resident.
