While babysitting for a neighbor in one of the oldest mansions in town an upstairs wardrobe started shaking after I put the baby to sleep. The shaking was so loud I could hear it from downstairs. But when I opened the wardrobe thinking perhaps one of their cat was stuck inside, there was nothing to have caused the shaking.     It happened several others times while I would babysit there. The family eventually moved and years later I found out that a horror writer had lived in their mansion in the Early 1900s and often wrote novels about hauntings in that house.
