Sugarloaf, Pennsylvania Ghost Sightings

Sugarloaf PAGE 1   2   3

On September 11th, 1780, 15 patriot soldiers met their mark when ambushed by Seneca Indians and Tories as they rested at a clearing along the Little Nescopeck Creek in what is now the borough of Conyngham. This fateful day is known as the Sugarloaf Massacre. A development not far from this scene is haunted with the cries of the fallen men. You often hear the war calls of the Native Americans in the wee hours of the morning.
