The ghost of a security guard with a bullet hole in his forehead is repeatedly seen dragging a dead body from the freezing water of Clonmell Creek at night. The ghost of an elderly man with a large gray mustache is rumored to have been seen on one or two occasions trying on shoes in a Swarthmore flat. A lady with an axe sticking out of her head may frequently be spotted at Bramell Point late in the night looking down into the water. Several of the locals say this phantom could be the soul of a local resident who passed away here in Swarthmore in the past. The phantom of a female with a bag tied around her head may be distinguished very often heaving boulders on the water's edge of Greenwich Lake.
