One of the locals steadfastly declares that this spirit is the spirit of a vacationer that was       murdered while traveling through Tafton many years ago. In any case, it undoubtedly is a terrifying spirit that is preferably not interrupted. The ghost of the driver of a train became visible at the water at Spinnler Point looking for something. This ghost is fantastically active in this area; there have been a handful of other stories of this   particular ghost. The phantom of a severely mangled huntsman dragging a dead deer was distinguished weeping in Bruce Lake Natural Area on a dark night. The bystander fled when he saw the ghost. Several of those who live here assert this ghost is that of a resident who resided here in Tafton long ago. Regardless of what, this is an intimidating ghost that you wouldn't want to come across very late at night.
