The farm sat on 180 acres in the middle of feilds and woods. I know the House was built in the 1770's and May have been occupied by quakers as the Friendship quaker meeting House is Only a few Miles away. The farm had to be self sufficient and there was a very old Spring House and Black Smith shop on the property. There was also     an old cemetery. They also mined there and you could still the remains of the mineres cabins. When you are a child you don't always realize what your experiencing when its happening to you. I used to think I was dreaming them. I never understood why the room would get freezing sometimes. I thought it was just because the House was old. Sometimes I would hear laughing... Like a child. Often I would hear knocking or banging or feel a vibration. I used to look out the window at night a lot because I was convince my brother was right and big foot lived in the woods   (continued on the next page...)
