Off the route of 512, 500 feet from Bushkill corners lies the woods of Bushkill Township. As you venture deep into the woods, they appear to become darker, no matter how bright or dark it is during the day. It to be told that a farmer and his wife once lived within these woods. Not far from them was a tribe of Indians. The farmer had not like how they were on his land. He had killed one of them. The tribe was horrified

and had put a ancient curse upon he farmer and his family. One night the farmer has awoken and grabbed a axe from the farm and went on a killing

spree to his entire family while they lay sleeping in their beds. Then turn the axe to split his skull in half. It is said, that if you walk in the woods, shadows or dark figures shall follow you. No noises can be heard, as if you are deaf.
