The ghost of a mailman is known to have been seen on a few instances down by Falls of Schuylkill late in the night heaving pieces of wood. Locals here assert that this spirit loves startling people who come searching for spirits in Wyncote.

A womanly figure may often be made out near the shore at Belmount Reservoir mounding boulders. One of the local residents steadfastly asserts that this ghost may very well be a celebrated yesteryear inhabitant of Wyncote.

The ghost of a man holding a sword may be seen very often walking a Saint Bernard before sunrise on a gloomy Wyncote street.

The ghost of a lady with numbers carved into her foot has from time to time been observed peeking through home windows in Wyncote around midnight. In any case, it certainly is a terrifying ghost that any sound person would not want to meet.
