Abell, Maryland Ghost Tales - PAGE 2 I live in Abell, and when I was a little kid we lived in a house on a ''road'' and it was a very creepy place. One day my parents and the agent where checking the house to see if the house was a good one to buy. When they walked in the house, the house shook all over, it wasn't just my parents that felt it either. The chandelier shook also. Then they explored the house and bought it. Then after 3 weeks moved in, my baby sister was born. They where up all night trying to put her to asleep. After one night of crying, at 4:00 a.m. the next night she was very quiet. My mother went inside her room to check on her to see if she was ok, and when she was walking down the hallway, she saw a girl ghost about in her 40's or 60's. My mother didn't see her legs, she was tying her apron together, and just suddenly disappeared. My mother knew who she was. She bought it from a guy who owned the house. He was a fisherman, and at 4:00 a.m. they both would get up. The girl would fix him breakfast and he would be getting ready to go fish. We don't know what       she died of. Anyways, my mother thought she just dreamt it. Later about 5:00 a.m. my mother checked on her, she was very quite. She saw the girl ghost rocking my sister's crattle. Then disappeared. Later that week, my father went to work and couldn't find his car keys. He always put them on the table on the downstairs table and they weren't there.   They were looking for it for almost 2 hours. Then there it was on that little table. He looked there about a dozen times and weren't there. That's all, and one day, they took a photo of the house and there was like a red face in the photo, that's when they left after that. Nobody lived in that house in 10 years then a guy bought it and fixed it up but was to creeped out to cause it was too scary so he now is selling it half way fixed up. True story. Thanks bye! .
