Everyone in my family has seen the ghost of a fisherman walking around my house. Also there has been a sighting of a man walking out of my hallway closet, I have only seen this once. Submitted by Savannah Categories: man, fisherman, home
Before our house was build at Taryn Lea Court in Accokeek, MD my husband and I took a picture of the land, we notice a larger than human size male figure in the picture. Submitted by Thompson
During the day the people who live here in Accokeek, Maryland go about their lives just like anywhere other, but when the darkness of night commences; things become chilling. There have been scores of experiences with persons from another world. Folks who have never stayed for the night in this town will inform you it's all just superstition, but there beyond doubt are menacing things happening here in Accokeek in the dark hours.

with a switchblade in her head can be witnessed frequently concealing a body by a sizeable boulder in Accokeek Neighborhood Park late at night.
A lady having the head of a devil has every now and then been observed staring angrily at the eye witness by the water at Bryan Point.

witnessed heaving stones into the water at Broad Creek after midnight. Locals who have spotted this ghost argue this ghost is most likely the tormented ghost of a local person who used to have a home here in Accokeek.
The ghost of a guy with half his head missing is known to have been perceived on a few occasions by Indian Queen Bluff tossing chunks of concrete. Either way, this is an unfriendly ghost that you would not want to come across in the early morning hours before sunrise.
The phantom of a youthful female sporting a blood-covered prom dress may now and then be spotted walking through an Accokeek area graveyard. Folks here declare that this phantom is the undeceased soul of a long forgotten Accokeek person who lived here. In any case, it's a chilling ghost that any sound person would not want to encounter.
