Brandywine, Maryland Ghost Tales


One may imagine that there's nothing remarkable about Brandywine, Maryland, but after the light of day has ended a person may very well witness some chilling things. There have been loads of encounters with beings from another realm. Not everybody has faith in the tales the local residents tell, but everybody who has a home in Brandywine is not alive.

These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently.

    young-looking gentleman dressed in a rain coat has every now and then been perceived staring through house windows in Brandywine before sunrise. A resident asserts that this phantom is most likely the
  tormented phantom of a resident who used to live here in Brandywine.

A decapitated guy is from time to time seen in Brandywine Area Recreation Area at night tossing chunks of concrete. One thing's for sure, this ghost certainly is terrifying; one that any reasonable person wouldn't wish to meet.

A female with her left arm and right leg separated has been perceived on several instances mounding bricks amongst the bushes of Cedarville State Forest. One of the locals firmly claims that this ghost is the undeceased spirit of an old Brandywine person who lived here.

around devoid of a body in it was distinguished staring across Devils Nest at night. Numerous accounts of this phantom have been reported. Some people declare this ghost is the ghost of a visitor that was murdered while driving through Brandywine some time ago. In any event, it's a bloodcurdling ghost that should be shunned.

The ghost of a civil war combatant appeared watching movies in a Brandywine living room before dawn. Additional folks in the vicinity have had comparable occurrences with an identical spirit. Whatever folks say, it's undoubtedly a chilling ghost that you wouldn't want to encounter at midnight.

The ghost of a guy having the sign of the devil etched into his head was seen before dawn creeping out of Jordan Swamp drenched in mud. This phantom is exceptionally active in this neighborhood; there have been numerous additional stories of this particular phantom. One thing is for sure, this is a hostile ghost that you shouldn't go searching for.

The ghost of a terribly mangled huntsman hauling a dead cougar showed up rummaging around in garbage container on a Brandywine residential road. The onlooker ran away right after he set eyes on the phantom. Anyhow, it's a bloodcurdling phantom that is better not interrupted.

The ghost of a young woman with a line around her neck was observed pulling a dead body from the chilly water of Butler Branch at night. The ghost was indifferent that there was somebody else present.

A gentleman with no head was made out in a wooden boat on Post Office Lake reading a book. The arrival of the eye witness startled the ghost who then vanished.

The ghost of an aged prospector with a big mustache and an eye patch has frequently been seen suspended in the air like a balloon in Brandywine. It has been argued that this precise ghost is that of a local who settled here in Brandywine long ago.

The ghost of an old female hauling a handgun is repeatedly seen gazing at a guy slumbering on a futon in a home in Brandywine.

The ghost of a flight attendant has been said to have been noticed on many instances quite near the entrance to Calvert Cliffs State Park staring.

The ghost of an old cleaning lady can regularly be perceived in a hardware store in the Brandywine neighborhood.

A black as coal snake that transformed into a lady may be noticed frequently at the entrance to Catoctin Mountain Park shining a lantern.

The ghost of a young female clad as a maid has now and then been witnessed scrambling out of a storm drain on a Brandywine street in the early morning hours.
