hill place. Only I didn't know it was called Spook Hill. It certainly has spooked the hell out of me ever since. The radio, the headlights, the car moving, and the fog from nowhere. That was enough for me.

Blair witch was not a real event or haunting. It was a low budget movie filmed in the Burkittsville area. There are, however, many locations that are known for paranormal activity close by. In particular are the Reno Monument Haunted Hill where your car is pulled up hill and a location where the dead Confederates were dumped down a well on the Wise Farm. Those are just a few of the many unusual stories associated with South Mountain.

About a month ago, November of 2010, a friend and I were house sitting for a relative. We decided to watch a movie, during which, my friend had to use the bathroom. When she walked to the hallway she saw the bedroom door was open and suddenly we heard glass shattering.
We ran out of the house leaving the door to slam shut and locked behind us. We then called the police because we were so shook up and also could not get into the house. When the police arrived they went in the bedroom to find the light on and several picture frams and vases thrown on the floor and broken.
Approx one hour and a half from Burkittsville.
