In the daytime the residents in Charlotte Hall, Maryland do their thing precisely like anywhere else, but some long departed folks from the past have come back here. Things happen in this town that cannot be rationally explained. A number of residents argue there are no ghosts, but everybody who dwells in Charlotte Hall is not alive.

These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently.

The phantom of an appallingly scorched
 
    lady has allegedly been witnessed on numerous instances at Jameson Dam very late at night taking in the panorama. People here claim that this ghost is perhaps the undeparted ghost of a local person who
  used to have a home here in Charlotte Hall. Whatever people state, this phantom sure is creepy; one that you shouldn't go searching for.

The phantom of an engine driver may frequently be perceived crying out people's names in the center of County Line Creek. A local resident declares that this spirit is the struggling spirit of a former Charlotte Hall local.

A woman with no head may be perceived over and over again being in a neglected structure in Charlotte Hall. One thing's for certain, this is an intimidating ghost that should be steered clear of.

A man with no head has now and then
been perceived standing by a secluded highway near Charlotte Hall.

The spirit of an old prospector with a large mustache and a hook instead of his hand is occasionally spotted screaming at the onlooker to disappear in Bryantown Historic District in the early morning hours before sunrise. Several people claim this ghost is the ghost of a visitor that was murdered while passing through Charlotte Hall a long time ago.

The ghost of an aged woman holding a firearm has allegedly been made out on several instances on the water's edge of Gilbert Run Lake going out of control. Any which way, it's a terrifying ghost that is preferably not disrupted.

The spirit of an aged Indian chief can every now and then be seen digging a nook down at the water at Billiard Point.
