When perceived the ghost moved toward the eye witness who then ran   off. The ghost of an old Indian chief became visible beneath a tree in Elk Neck State Forest trying to articulate something. This individual ghost has been distinguished often in this area. A black snake that shifted shape into a woman was noticed soaring across Bohemia Manor after midnight. There have been additional accounts with reference to this ghost in the neighborhood.
