Columbia, Maryland Ghost Tales My wife and I rented an apartment on Old Columbia Rd, the apartment # is 5325C. I saw the ghost 3 times and my wife saw it once. If you look toward the back siding glass door, you will see a man walking from the front door to master bedroom. At first we thought it was someone on the outside but by the second time I realized that the man was in the apartment. This was in 2001, so I don't know if he is still there, but if you live there you may want to look for him. One thing's for guaranteed, it's a scary ghost that you would not want to bump into late at night. The spirit of an elderly gold   digger with a sizeable mustache and a wooden leg is sometimes witnessed in a row boat on Lake Kittamaqundi seeking a picture. In any case, it is certainly a creepy ghost that any sensible person would not want to come across. The ghost of a waitress is known to have been perceived on a few occasions swallowing apple juice in Atholton Park very late at night. The spirit of an aged cleaning lady may now and then be observed in a Columbia area supermarket, striding the aisles. Whatever people articulate, this ghost undoubtedly is terrifying; one that you shouldn't go trying to find. A black cockroach that transformed into a woman was seen by Johns Hopkins University Dam at the stroke of midnight gazing at the water. The ghost didn't appear to be anxious by the bystanders.
