This house has an old black wood burner in the living room... We hear unmistakable footsteps upstairs almost on a nightly basis. Things like the upstairs door opening on it's own after I've pulled on the handle to make sure it was shut!!So I know it was no draft from the old windows from up there. My mother woke up at exactly     5 till midnight and wanted to go upstairs to look at pictures and claimed we wouldn't let her go up to see these pictures!!There is nothing up there but an empty room! And mind you my mother is afraid to go up there any other time, day or night. But on this night at 5 till midnight she wants to go up to see pictures that aren't up there. If anyone has any info on this old house that they would like to tell me please write back.
