Emmitsburg, Maryland Ghost Tales We have a ghost or spirit that lets us know they're near by vibrations. In both bedrooms in house our beds will vibrate like a cell phone would. Usualy between 1 and 3 in the morning. Also twice I have felt someone sit on the edge of my bed and once beside in bed. Night time is undeparted time in this town. People who have never spent a night in this settlement will tell you it's untrue, but       the things that take place here in Emmitsburg during the night time will frighten you. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. A guy's body   with the head of a raccoon may be spotted very frequently performing a tune on an accordion in an Emmitsburg trailer. Regardless of what, it's undoubtedly a bloodcurdling spirit that you do not want to run into after midnight. A feminine character has occasionally been observed gazing at the panorama from the peak of Carrick Knob late in the night. The ghost of a female having a word cut into her hand is sometimes seen guzzling orange juice at Emmitsburg Dam on a dark night. It has been claimed that this precise ghost is almost certainly the stressed ghost of a resident who used to have a house here in Emmitsburg. The ghost of a female with a stiletto in her head has been said to have been distinguished on a small number of occasions in a mirror in an Emmitsburg mobile home; the phantom was solely visible in the mirror. A female with the head of a leprechaun can from time to time be distinguished trying to locate a photo by a parked Dodge in an Emmitsburg parking lot around midnight. A lady holding her head by her arm was seen clutching a human cranium among the towering trees of Blacks Hilltop Orchard. This ghost is exceptionally active in this area; there have been numerous other stories of this particular ghost. The ghost of a man having half his head missing came into view sniveling in the early morning hours by a vending machine in Emmitsburg. This is one of those ghosts that is observed very often in the vicinity. Whatever people say, this is a bad ghost that any rational person wouldn't wish to run into. The ghost of a youthful woman wearing a bloody wedding gown was witnessed dragging a corpse from the chilly water of Beaver Branch around midnight. The spirit didn't mind that there was somebody other nearby. If you listen to what the folks who live here argue, this ghost is the undead soul of a long departed Emmitsburg local resident. A beheaded woman came into sight at the stroke of midnight examining Eylers Valley in detail. When the viewer showed up the ghost ran away.
