One of my roommates used to say that something always tried to attack him when he tried to sleep. He said he Felt like it was holding him down. He was a little eccentric so I didn't take him seriously until I had the exact same sensation a few days later when trying to sleep. It Felt like someone was trying to hold me down. I     also noticed that whenever I started Drifting off to sleep it Felt like my arms were being lifted out in front of me instead of at my sides then I'd Wake up and my arms would be out in front of me. I would also Wake up to my bed shaking but nothing else in the room would be shaking. I don't know what was there but whatever it was it was not Friendly at all. I found it very difficult to sleep after a while. I wound up moving out of that place a month later for other reasons and was very Happy that I did.
