Glen Burnie, Maryland Ghost Tales

   In the early 1900's a house on norman road glen burnie, MD was known for The Goodner family's Curse. It is said that one Tuesday afternoon in mid August, the four older siblings who were in charge of babysitting youngest brother, got side tracked while playing. Later found thier youngest brother suffocated in some blankets, afraid of confronting thier parents, it is said they buried there brother in the backyard under their shed and told thier parents he went missing while playing. The parents reported it as a missing child case. As the years passed, each of the children that were involved slowly went insane, 2 of the 4 ran away and never to be seen or heard from again. The eldest was placed in an insane asylum, and the 4th no one knows afer he ran from police when being chased. To this day every child living in that house is torchured by the screams of the buried child until finally committed to an innsain asylum or leaves home. Every family since has been visited by the young child at night, and it is rumored that the screams will continue as long as children are in the home.

You may perhaps assume that Glen Burnie, Maryland is exactly like any other settlement in this country, but when the gloomy shadows of the nighttime move in the undead invade. Night time is undeparted time in this town. People who have never spent a night in this settlement will tell you it's untrue, but the things that take place here in Glen Burnie during the night time will frighten you.

A female with larvae crawling out of her mouth is sometimes seen seeking a glove by a parked VW in a Glen Burnie parking lot on a dark night. It has been claimed that this precise ghost is almost certainly the stressed ghost of a resident who used to have a house here in Glen Burnie.

The ghost of a strapped up female has been said to have been distinguished on a small number of occasions in a Glen Burnie area hardware store, staggering the aisles.

A female hauling her head underneath her arm can from time to time be distinguished staring down into
the water at Arundel Cove around midnight.

The ghost of a man having half his head gone was seen crying down near the shore at Lake Waterford. This ghost is exceptionally active in this area; there have been numerous other stories of this particular ghost.

The ghost of a youthful woman wearing a bloody dress came into view exploring Fishing Point Shoal in detail in the early morning hours. This is one of those ghosts that is observed very often in the vicinity. Whatever people say, this is a bad ghost that any rational person wouldn't wish to run into.

A headless woman was witnessed seated at the dining table in a Glen Burnie trailer gazing. The spirit didn't mind that there was somebody other nearby. If you listen to what the folks who live here argue, this ghost is the undead soul of a long departed Glen Burnie local resident.

The ghost of a 10 foot colossal man came into sight taking pleasure in the panorama at Fort McHenry Anchorage at the stroke of midnight. When the viewer showed up the ghost ran away.

The ghost of a teen girl was made out checking out Fort McHenry Angle in the early morning hours before sunrise. The ghost spoke about avenging a homicide.

A body with a skeleton face sporting dark robes has frequently been noticed throwing boulders into the stream at Bailys Branch at night.

A lady having a sword in her head is frequently observed gazing at the panorama from the top of Lawyers Hill at night.
