We moved to Glen Burnie in 1960 into a new house in a new subdivision on Pt. Pleasant. I never felt comfortable in that house hearing noises that no one else heard and just generally feeling creepy. I would not leave my room once it got dark and everyone else was asleep (I was 9 when we moved there).
I eventually married and left home in 1974 but every time I was back there the same feelings would arise. When I returned in 1999 or 2000 to help empty the house as both my parents had passed I was sitting in a bar having a beer with my brother and we were talking about the paranormal.
I mentioned about how spooky I still found that house and he told me he had heard there was some connection with the civil war and that area of Pt. Pleasant a cemetery he thought. Well from that moment onward that spooky feeling was gone.

The house suddenly became happier and more inviting. Spirits just wanting acknowledgement perhaps? I can't find any documentation re a cemetery or anything else so who knows...

Comment by Msponheime@aol: The cemetery that you are talking about was located on Oakdale Road and was moved before they could finish building the homes. I know this because my dad had a house on Oakdale road across the street from the cemetery, the cemetery dated back to the early 1800s and I believe the last person buried there was sometime after the Civil War.
