Ijamsville, Maryland Ghost Sightings
I was a child when we lived at Gabriel's Inn. You wouldn't believe the stories. There are so many. That house was definitely haunted.|

Just saw your site for the first time today. I was surprised to see Ijamsville, Maryland and even more surprised not to see G's Inn listed. G's inn was built in 1862 in the midst of the Civil War and also was a sanitarium for women with mild mental disorders for over 80 years until becoming an inn in 1962.
Needless to say with all that history our ghostly residents are many and make themselves known in many ways. Almost everyone who has spent any time on the property has experienced them, from the kindly gentleman who wanders our back hallway nightly seeing to the lady patients, to the lady in the polka dot dress that shows herself to customers in the ladies restroom.|

Comment by Jennifer: We lived there at G's Inn. It's very haunted. We lived there 3 months, all is true. We lived upstairs my husband brother and two children. The man showed himself in the window. The little boy ran around the house. Countless stories.
Comment by Bradshaw: When we say G Inn, are we talking about Gabriel's Inn? I definitely know the place very well. If so, and it definitely sounds like what you're talking about. I had friends live there including a guy named Larry, a guy named Tony, and a girl named Lisa, and a girl named Tammy. They lived there for quite a few years. I can tell you from personal experience the place is quite haunted... Jaymzknight_1982 @msn.com.
