About ten years ago I was down to the Turners Creek landing, just looking around, when out of the corner of my eye I spotted something up in the Lanthim House on the hill. I sat there for a second because I was sure it wasn’t my imagination. Sure enough, about a minute later I saw a light move from one room to the next. I was the only one down to the landing that night and I got nervous and got out of there in a hurry.

I mentioned what I saw to my buddy who docks his boat down there and he said he had seen the same thing one night when he got back late. He

said it was as clear as day, something was moving from room to room and lighting each room. I won’t go up there any more after dark.
