Our family house is on the edge of Owl Creek, and there are remnants of an old stone house still in the neighborhood (the kids in the neighborhood use to think it was a slave house but who knows     if that was true). When I was a little girl I spent the night with my brother in his room because he got a bunkbed for his birthday. In the middle of the night I woke up to the sound of books falling on the floor. I was freaked out when I saw a man outlined in green with a top hat reading books from the bookshelf.He eventually looked up and had glowing red eyes. In the morning there were books scattered all over the floor!'' Throughout childhood the hauntings continued.
