I've been there several times trying to see something, never really saw anything. However, every time I go there, I get chills and get really really scared if I get out of my car. There's a story of a little girl who drown after her mother was walking her home after buying her new shoes. She drown and never got to where her red shoes... So you go on five bridges road, get on the bridge with the out house next to it and park your car on the middle of the bridge, you put your keys on top of your car, flash your lights three times, and say I got your red shoes three times and your keys are supposed to be gone and you see the little sitting in the tree to the left... I've done this several times and it's never worked, but it scares me... My friend said she saw the little girl... while in the forest, I have heard a women screaming in the distance... Aso, when you find five bridges road, when you past the first bridge you'll see two roads, go straight not right... Several times I would lose my way and only see one bridge, no bridges, and sometimes more then five...It's really creepy.... I suggest going there for Halloween if you want a good scare.... Also there's and big white house, which they call the mansion... There's an old lady who haunts it and if you look into the kitchen window there's Polaroid's of people faces all over the walls...

I am actually a paranomal investigator... AND I grew up (25 years) back in the Pocomoke Forest near Five Bridges Rd and have a best friend that actually lives on Five Bridges.... the noises you are hearing are animals. I am telling you, mocking birds and all kinds of other creatures that make insane noises. I know because I have lived it and have seen it. The only stuff you all think you are seeing and hearing is either people messing with you or other natural sounds occuring but your mind is taking over your senses. My homeland may be haunted, but there is no girl in the tree and no bible that doesn't move or whatever and NO cannibles. I know every inch of the roads and woods and it is not scarry at all. You all are just not used to the secluded area!! You are better off just leaving this area alone... it is not the ghosts you have to worry about... it is the crazy ALIVE people that WILL shoot you if you accidentally go on their land or they just don't like the way they look or like what you are doing snooping around. There are many

old timers that do not like invaders and will kill anyone that they feel is a threat! And they are NOT cannibals... because I have know them my whole life and I am still alive. We like deer meat, not human meat!! Take what I am saying seriously though, because this is my area and I know what I am talking about!! In all the years of living in the beautiful

Pocomoke Forest my whole life... 25 years like I said earlier... I have never seen, heard or felt anything paranormal with or without equipment! And ''Orbs'' are not paranormal... they are a natural phenomenom that is similar to lightning. Submitted by anonymous Categories: home, bridge
I've never been to the Pocomoke Forest but I've heard of many tails of strange going ons. There are many reports of witchcraft there and encounters with real people. So beware. You could come in contact with real witches and drunk college kids looking for a thrill. Either way, its dangerous and you have to walk. Be ready to be scared by real supernatural things. My mom used to work at hartley hall and she said they would always hear weird things and one side the back door's alarm would go off and no one would be there. Submitted by Someone rom Salisbury but now lives in Va. Category: sounds

lived in Pocomoke for a long time this place is just a tale no such thing ever happened there. In the mid 80's there were screams reported at night, but turned out to be a meat packing company killing pigs. The only place that had any ghost was a place called Hartley hall. It was a old 3 story house turned into a nursing home. The attic still had the owners coffin (no body) in it until it was torn down. It was said that you could hear the sliding of the coffin on the floor. Submitted by Tim Categories: home, man, nursing_home
