Silver Spring, Maryland Ghost Tales A woman with a black cat sitting on her head, was seen walking across a bridge (the bridge was suspened over a smaill creek that seemed to have no end and water that was really blood) in the dead of night. Moonlight hour is undeparted time in this town. Disbelievers don't trust in the local ghost testimonies, but seeing is believing and if you stay for a few days here in Silver Spring, you may well catch a glimpse of a ghost. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. The ghost of a gentleman clad as a janitor has occasionally been noticed at Wheaton Regional Park Dam at night looking at the scenery. A woman with a somewhat transparent body is now and then seen throwing stones       into the water at Batchellors Run at midnight. One of the locals determinedly argues that this phantom may be a renowned old days resident of Silver Spring. The spirit of a security guard with a bullet hole in his forehead has purportedly been observed on numerous occasions in Arctic Park before sunrise dragging a cadaver over the grass. Whatever   folks utter, this spirit undeniably is scary; one that you wouldn't want to meet before sunrise. The ghost of an old gentleman with a huge gray beard can from time to time be witnessed down beside the shore at Burnt Mills Reservoir trying to articulate something. The phantom of a man dressed in a soldier's uniform has often been distinguished in a mirror in a Silver Spring mobile home; the ghost was exclusively visible in the mirror. A woman with an axe sticking out of her head has allegedly been observed on one or two occasions in an apartment close to Silver Spring. One thing is for sure, this is a hostile ghost that any normal person wouldn't wish to bump into. The armor of a medieval knight with no person inside can regularly be seen seeking an object beside a parked vehicle in a Silver Spring parking lot on a dark night. The spirit of a lady with a plastic bag strapped around her head can be noticed over and over again in a Silver Spring area grocery store, staggering the aisles. Either way, it's a terrifying ghost that should be kept away from.
