Westminster, Maryland Ghost Tales Several years ago I lived in a house built around 1990 on what use to be Eden farm area.  On or about July 3rd maybe in 2000 I was sitting one evening at my computer, above me was a book shelf with various books, mostly computer, but other types as well.  While surfing the net a book for no apparent reason fell off the shelf onto the floor beside me.  I picked it up and it was ghost Stories of Westminster a small paper back,  The book was open to a page about Gettysburg Ghost.  I put the book back and then heard a noise in the basement, I figured it was a door creaking.  Anyway I went to investigate and on the cement floor there appeared what looked like a pool of water, fairly large.  I got a ladder to inspect the water pipes above and all the pipes were bone dry.  I felt the puddle which was in the shape of someone lying in the fetal position.  It to was bone dry!  Just a mystery I thought.  I proceeded to bed that night without figuring out what exactly it was.  During the night, I felt the presence of someone (?) and heard a male voice saying       '' I am a cadet'' Not sure who or what it was, but there must be some explanation? The incident never occurred again. One thing I will never forget is on thanks giving we all sat down to eat  and a blue box that you have to pick up to open flew off the shelf. We think it was a relative or some one who died there. PS it was a  home to TROOPS THAT WERE IN THE GETTYSBURGE WAR. A woman with larvae crawling out of her nose was spotted at County Home Farm Pond Dam after midnight taking pleasure in the vista. When the phantom was seen it faded away into the thin air. The phantom of a shackled up lady is regularly distinguished in Bair Stadium before sunrise hauling a dead body over the grass.
