There was a group of them walking along the tracks armed and ready to catch a ghost. They say that they all saw a glowing greenish in color casket floating about 4 foot off the ground. Some one shot at it and it pulsed and then winked out.. And they all ran! About 15 years ago my parents an aunt and uncle and my cousin and his wife went to visit and fish the chowan. And of course see     the ghost light! Now my cousin grew up listing to these stories but had never actually been before so he was pretty wired at this point. Well sure enough our ghost did us proud! My big macho cousin was not so tough after all! He went to the car said time to go! Later that night his parents awoke to him hovering over them. Him saying I'm going Home now with or without you but I have to go! So he packed up his gear grabbed the wife and left Black marks! The aunt and uncle and my parents got some video footage on the rest of their stay.
