Apex, North Carolina Ghost Tales We were sitting on the swing set right next to downtown apex behind the Baptist church parking lot, one of us was facing the graveyard right behind the swing set. We heard and saw two little girls running around the graves screaming playfully but we didn't think anything about it. We finally decided it was disrespectful so we went up to the graveyard to see what was happening and there was no one in sight. There have been loads of incidents with things from another world. Several residents assert these stories are not true, but everybody who stays in Apex is not alive. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. The ghost of a down-and-out guy has from time to time been perceived in Fred G Bond Metro       Park late in the night looking crossly at the witness. A number of people say this ghost takes pleasure in terrifying foolish folks who come trying to find ghosts in Apex. In any event, it's a chilling ghost that you would not want to meet after midnight. The ghost of a youthful cowboy is now and then witnessed in a home in Apex. A creepy   beast has allegedly been distinguished on a small number of occasions in an Apex trailer. It has been claimed that this precise ghost may be the spirit of a person who lived here who passed away here in Apex long ago. The ghost of a miner may once in a while be spotted taking in the scenery at Akins Pond Number One Dam at night. Regardless of what people state, it is certainly a bloodcurdling ghost that you shouldn't go trying to find. The ghost of a guy clothed as a handy man was spotted emerging in a closet mirror. Additional people in close proximity have had matching incidents with a quite similar ghost. Based on what the residents declare, this phantom is most likely the undeceased phantom of a local person who used to have a house here in Apex. A lady with a half translucent body came into sight at Bachelor Branch before dawn heaving boulders into the current. This is one of those spirits that is witnessed time and again close by. The phantom of a security guard with a bullet hole in his forehead was seen slurping milk down near the shore at Silver Lake. The watcher fled after she spotted the spirit. Many residents argue this spirit is the undeparted soul of a long dead Apex resident.
