A beheaded gentleman has been said to have been spotted on one or two instances watching shows in an Atlantic Beach living room in the early morning hours. The ghost of a physician with a blood-covered uniform can every now and then be perceived   at Allen Slough late at night looking down into the water. A woman with her left arm and left leg removed was noticed hauling a corpse across the ground in Croatan Game Land very late at night. The ghost spoke about revenging a murder.
