The ghost of a young gentleman sporting a confederate uniform was witnessed pulling a dead body from the ice cold water of Aho Branch in the early morning hours before sunrise. This is one of those phantoms that is spotted often in the neighborhood.

The ghost of a street bum has repeatedly been observed spending time in an uninhabited house in Blowing Rock. According to the folks who live here, this
spirit is perhaps the undeparted spirit of a person who used to have a home here in Blowing Rock.

The ghost of a young female soaked in blood is rumored to have been seen on a few occasions at Appalachian Ski Mountain Dam very late at night enjoying the scenery.

The phantom of an aged hag can often be observed on the water's edge of Appalachian Ski Mountain Lake facing the onlooker. Regardless of what, it's undoubtedly a creepy ghost that you shouldn't go trying to locate.

A woman's body having a rat's head may be made out repeatedly mounted on a moped on a shady road near Blowing Rock. If you listen to what the residents assert, this ghost is the tormented soul of a long departed Blowing Rock local resident.
