Butner, North Carolina Ghost Tales I saw a vision of a 3-story victorian house with a man sitting inside in a wing chair. He was an important man who, at his death, requested that he be allowed to remain in his home. That request was granted. I think the house might have been on/near the old Camp Butner Army Base. This phantom is enormously active in this neighborhood; there have been a handful of other accounts of this exact phantom. A   lady afire, holding a gas bottle emerged in the early morning hours before sunrise floating down Camp Creek. The eye witness fled immediately after he distinguished the ghost. If you listen to the people who live here, this ghost gets pleasure from scaring foolhardy folks who come searching for ghosts in Butner. The ghost of a young-looking air force pilot was noticed in Camp Butner Wildlife Management Area before dawn concealing a cadaver by a sizeable boulder. The ghost didn't care that there was someone else present. A young-looking girl in a bloody dress appeared struggling to seize something on the shore of Lake Michie. When the viewer became visible the phantom ran away. A guy having a spear in his head was made out seated in a beanbag in a building in Butner. The ghost mumbled about revenging a murder. A guy's body having the head of a skunk was witnessed terrifying people underneath a streetlamp in Butner. The witness freaked out and ran away. Lots of local residents declare this ghost might be a renowned former time local of Butner. Regardless of what folks verbalize, it's a frightening ghost that is preferably not interrupted.
