We thought perhaps the 1st sergeant was playing jokes on us but when we investigated all doors were secure with no one in the building other than myself and the staff sergeant. I have discussed this with another marine and he claims when his grandfather was stationed there the bn were barracks and someone claimed their own life in that building.
I do miss Camp Lejeune.

I lived in Lejeune for about 8 years of my life. I personally don't remember any of this, because I was a new born baby when all this happened, I don't even remember the address of this house, but this is a great story.
My mom tells me about it whenever I ask, and I always want to hear. You have to understand, while this sounds crazy, my mama has a bit of a 6th sense. When I was just born, we lived in this house. It was haunted, and the ghost's name was Charlie.|
He had been killed during WWII and his family had lived in that house. This may be the only story about a nice ghost. He lived there to protect families from, well, whatever came their way. That year there were two major hurricanes, Bertha and fran (I believe those were the names...
). The only reason I'm still here to write this all down, (or so we believe.. ) is because he protected me. As I was a little baby, if those hurricane winds broke the window of my room, I was gone.
