It was around the second week of March 2019. It was near the end of my field med battalion training. We were doing Finex at that time, and I was doing the night simulation out on the woods at Camp Johnson. When we were on the fourth station my role was to be a marine and securing the perimeter while the acting Corpsman with our med bag was treating the casualties (I remember half of my squad became a casualty because they stepped on an TED, lol). We safety carried the casualties to the casualty collection point and positioned myself at the rear to guard the perimeter. I was on my knees facing the woods and a body of water(lake).

When the instructors halted the training to assess how we did as a squad, the weirdest and unexplained event happened in front of me. A blue ball of light showed up out of nowhere. The brightness of it caught my attention, and I immediately looked at that direction. It was pitch black too. I can only see the stars and the moon. I can described it as a blue meteor, shooting down in a very slow motion. It was also slowly dissipating into thin air. I also saw the reflection of the blue lights on the water, and I estimated that it happened in a few yards. I was mesmerized from the sight of it for it looked beautiful and captivating. It was like something you see from a sci-fi movie or from space.
When it was fully gone I immediately asked the Corpsman next to me if he saw that, but before he can answer my question one of the instructors yelled ''did you saw that thing?'' Unfortunately the Corpsman next to me didn't see it for he was facing at the opposite direction. However, when the instructor asked that, I knew I wasn't hallucinating from the stress and tiredness from this training. The folklore of Will O Wisp makes me think it's a joke before this happened, but seeing that makes me want to find out what's the logic behind it.

I have not witnessed any ghostly apparitions, but I experienced something weird. It was back in around between January - March of 2019. I was standing rover watch at FMTB-E. I was paired up with another sailor from the RP platoon. They start our round in this manner: passing by the FMTB-E barracks, heading to Bldg 104 to check all doors, heading to the armory, and going back to the school house. On our first round the back doors of Bldg 104 are all closed. On our second round I grabbed the door handle with force, and I was surprised that it was open. Me and another rover were spooked by it. He is religious himself and knew some scary stories behind this building. We then notified the OOD about it. I would be happy if anyone has experienced something paranormal from this building. Also whenever I stand duty at the school house around 0000-0400, there's always this walking footsteps that always had me on edge. I never tried to pinpoint the source of it, lol. .
