Back in 1999 on Halloween night a friend of mine and a friend drove a friend back home to the base in Jacksonville. On the way back to Chocowinity after we exited the New Bern Bridge through the two lane wooded stretch 2 weird things happened. We both saw a really bright orange disc zoom across the sky. That in itself shook us up. I'm pretty sure it wasn't a shooting star or anything like that.|
Then as we kept driving, (the road was pretty lonely
that night) we saw a pale figure in the distance walking on the passenger side of the road. It was a girl looked to be around 12 or 13. She was pale and
was wearing a long white vintage dress with long blonde hair, and she had something on a leash, but it was not a dog or cat.. It looked strange similar to a pig.|
I looked right at her. As we passed, she didn't look at us but was looking just straight ahead. It was late at night. I'd say around 10 or 11 p.m. There were no houses around, and she was completely alone except for the strange animal. We didn't know what to think, but we surely did
