    soaked in filth before dawn. A local woman says that this spirit is the spirit of a vacationer that was murdered while passing through Como many years ago.

A somewhat transparent gentleman dressed as the captain of a vessel may once in a while be seen gazing at Whorrells Millpond Dam late at night. In any case, this ghost unquestionably is menacing;
  one that you wouldn't want to come across very late at night.

The spirit of a young-looking man dressed in a confederate uniform was noticed attempting to grip something next to the water at Flax Island. This ghost is exceptionally active in this area; there have been a handful of additional sightings of this precise ghost. One of the residents determinedly says that this ghost is that of a local person who dwelled here in Como many years ago.
