Drexel, North Carolina Ghost Tales


By daylight Drexel, North Carolina is a typical United States city, but if you are easily terrified, you'd best keep your distance to this area in the dark hours. The ghosts of this town don’t leave anyone unstartled. A number of residents assert these testimonies are untrue, but the ghosts of Drexel are out tonight trying to find somebody to freak out.

These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently.

A dark dog that turned into a woman may be seen often scraping out a hole at Leonhart Dam very late at night.

The spirit of a homeless gentleman has every now and then been distinguished stacking chunks of concrete in Bethel Road Park late in the night. One of the local residents firmly says that this ghost is the undeparted soul of a former Drexel local.

The ghost of a young-looking cowboy has been seen on a few occasions traveling on a steed beside a road in the neighborhood of Drexel. A number of of the folks who live here claim this spirit is that of a person who settled here
 
    in Drexel some decades ago.

The ghost of a silver-miner may sometimes be made out trying to find a shoe in Ball Alley Creek.

The ghost of a guy outfitted as a plumber was made out marching through a house near Drexel. The witness was terrified and ran away.
