I had a really strange thing happen while I was on staff duty one night in 2013. I went to my office between checks to print something off of my computer. My office at the time was in the old COFs at the intersection of Ardennes and Merrill. It was about 3 am on a weekday, so everything was pretty quiet. As I was sitting at my desk, the rest of the office doors started slamming one by one. After all of them had slammed shut I heard a grown man's voice screaming. As soon as I heard that, I got out of there in a hurry. The crazy part is that I know no one else was in the building with me. There are only two doors and both were locked. All of the lights were off when I walked in, so no one else was in there. .

My husband and I live off of Searight Drive in the Casablanca neighborhood of Fort Bragg. We tried ignoring the activity brushing it off as nothing for a while until Wednesday night. Leading up until Wednesday I had ignored the feeling of being watched (my husband felt this as well. ) We have many cold spots in the house as well, but when we look at the thermostat it says that it is around 71 degrees which doesn't make sense (since I would be so cold I had goose bumps. ) We would hear creaking noises or sounds of someone walking but brushed it off as being a new house that made noises.

The other day I was working on my laptop with my back to the living room and had to keep stopping because I felt like someone was behind me. Once I swore I saw something pass behind me. Also, I felt like someone lightly pulled my hair not harshly though. The feeling you get when you take the end pieces of your hair like two strands and pull a little (this happened twice. ) Having long hair, I thought it was just me accidentally and didn't think about it more.

Once when I left our kitchen then came back our trash can was moved. All of this creeped us out, but we tried to ignore it or blame it on our puppy. Wednesday night we realized it was more serious. We went to bed early that night around 8:50 pm to watch Netflix in bed before we went to sleep. I clearly remember turning off all of the lights in the house then closing and locking my bedroom door (I always check that it is locked by trying to open the door after I lock it, not sure why, but I have always done that. ) Around 2 am I heard my puppy in the living room crying. I woke up and didn't pay too much attention because she is a puppy trying to get used to her crate, so I thought she just wanted to be with us in the room.
