Comment by Josie: We lived on Humphrey Plaza when I was 10-13, and that's what brought me to this page. My then 3-5 year old sister played consistently with a little girl called ''Lizzie.'' My mother went to work with the Base Historical Society while she was in school to become an accountant, and records support that a young girl named ''Elizabeth '' died of what we'd now call stomach cancer in the 1940s. Creepy stuff. We also had banging rattling, and my mother's collection of angel figurines would often be found turned to face the master hallway without explanation. It was crazy.

I recently moved from Ft Bragg due to a lot of unexplained activity in our home. My husband and I would often hear footsteps in our home on base at night. When my husband would go check there would never be anyone there.
When he was away in the field or at school is when they would really act up in the guest bathroom. I would hear noises and go to check and there would be nothing! One night I was so scared that I ran out screaming to scare whoever our whatever was there.
After that night I was no longer scared of it and anytime I heard the sound from that point on I would tell for them to shut up and they'd ease up. I lived in a single family home in Corrigedor... The first neighborhood through the Randolph gate.
