Comment by Brittney: Can you tell me the exact location? I see the railroad track that runs through Fremont but I'm not sure where the bridge is. I'm not from the area but a friend of mine is. I'd love to do some more research.
Comment by Mav: My family and I have always gone to these tracks to find the headless man. This is the first I've heard of the witch... We been at night and during the day I can honestly relate to the story on this post with the marines. We had the same exact experience and it seemed as if the faster we ran the faster it would run. The time we went during the day we were all throwing rocks into the water by the bridge all of a sudden a rock flew out, and hit one of the girls in the head we walked back through the field and came upon a wooden sign with a naked body painted on it with blood all over and the sign said keep coming here and this will be you. I think the farmers are getting tired of people going there.

It has been known that there is a headless man that walks up and down the railroad tracks in Fremont with a lantern searching for his head! If you go there on a cold-late-foggy-night and park your car at the railroad tracks once you see the man coming down the tracks when you try to crank your car it won't start. But go back in the morning and it starts right up!. Submitted by Heather
Comment by Kyle: In early 2013 I was at the spot to see the headless man with the lantern and much to my surprise I saw the lantern. I let it get only so close before I decided I had seen enough and I went home. Creepy!.
Comment by Jailyn: Can you tell me where you were when you saw this? I'd love to go check it out but don't know exactly where to go!.
