Gold Hill, North Carolina Ghost Tales My husband and I recendtly visited Gold Hill, NC for the 2008 Ghost tour. We took several pictures and caught some images and orbs in a few of them the strangest one was and Image in the Powder House doorway. The Powder House was were they stored the dynamite in the 1800's. Objects slide about, talk coming out of nowhere. Some residents assert there are no phantoms, but frightening things indisputably occur here in Gold Hill at night. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. The ghost of a young man having on a confederate uniform can be noticed frequently struggling to utter something at Ritchies Lake Dam before dawn. The ghost of a street bum is sometimes distinguished flashing a lantern in Richfield       Park at midnight. Regardless of what, it's a menacing ghost that you shouldn't go trying to locate. The ghost of a youthful woman soaked in blood has supposedly been distinguished on numerous instances chucking bricks into the stream at Black Run Creek on a dark night.
