Custom Search Grover, North Carolina Ghost Sightings   In Grover there is a old wrecked jeep in the woods behind Grover Elementary School. Me and my friend went into the woods just to do a couple of bike tricks. We heard stories about the place, but we didn't always believe them. I went over to a pile of wood and thorns and saw a hole. I looked inside and saw two big, glowing, yellow eyes staring at me. Right when I saw them I heard a low growl. I turned around to get my friend     and went back over there and they were gone! People say there was a man at least 20 years ago hunting. He killed a wolf and started to drive off. Then he saw a pack of wolf comming toward him (this is not made up)! He got caught off gaurd and hit a tree and the pack of wolfs killed him. So now he haunts the woods to warn off people to not go in the woods where the wolf pack will kill them. People say that is why the masscot for Grover School is the wolf.
