I live in Havelock and was wondering if anyone experienced seeing ghosts in the Sherwood Forest area. My sightings started about the 22nd of this month (January) 2018. All the people (ghosts) I see are in my house. The first two were of Amish descent. Afterwards to this date I've seen about ten more men, women, and children.
I've never seen anything like what I am experiencing. I was able to take a picture of one woman with two children. Her clothes were glowing. I've tried talking with them, but they walk off and disappear into thin air. I am really curious as to why I have so many visitors. I'm wondering if it's because of the land my house was built on. My house was built in 1963. I just bought it this past May.

My visitors love the living room area. I see them mostly in there. One lady really loved my Christmas tree. She would look at it for a while, walk to the back of the tree, and then disappear. She's done that a few times.

As I've said, any information that you might have will be very helpful. Today, the last ghosts I saw were two children. Again, any information you have will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Submitted by Loretta
Comment by Anna: I don't know of any Amish people who lived around here (Mennonites yes, but that's recent). However, Craven County was settled by the same German and Swiss refugees that settled Pennsylvania and became the Amish Mennonites. This was in the early 1700s. Perhaps a family lived down that way. There were also a lot of Quakers who settled into North Carolina in the 1700s. I would check with the historical society in Havelock and New Bern (also the library in New Bern) to see if you can find a history of who owned that land. Very interesting!.
