My grand daddy built the House around 1914 as best I can tell. One of my aunts who looked a lot like my mom died in the old House about 20 years ago. There have been other deaths in the House as well. When my dad passed Nov. 1 of 06 he was taken to Jackson Springs to be buried at Marcus cemetery. When my family and I     arived at the old House that first night my mom was very distroght and we were all very worried about her. After we had all gone to bed around 1 a. M. I heard someone walking through the living room. I looked to see who it was and saw what I thought was my mom walk past the door heading for the back part of the house. My wife hearing the foot steps as well sat up and said 'was that your mom? '. I said yes. She then asked if I wanted her to go and make sure she was OK again I said yes. She got up and headed out of the bedroom and I got up and followed not far   (continued on the next page...)
