matter what they put there in its place, those spirits will always lurk. That's my story, thank you for your time to read it.

Comment by Jason: What happened to school?.
Comment by anonymous: This is true; the school was deeply haunted I have been told so by my mom so many times she went there. By the way it is in Mayseville. The description is pretty spot on. That I no why it was haunted. It was an old prison.
That speaks for itself. And no girls were stabbed there. They did not use the upstairs though. It is just the erasers would move by there selves there were voices. The school closed down. Now in the same place is a soccer field with a one story building in the middle.
I used to go to Silverdale Elementary about 5 minutes up the road every time I passed by my mom would remind me of that school she used to go to. I always loved a good true ghost story.
Comment by Mark: I went to that school from 87 to 89. It was 6 through 8th grade then, and the whole main building was open classes. I never saw anything or heard those stories.
Comment by Red Devil Viking: A fine piece of fiction but almost completely untrue. One hole in your story is that there have been no woods within 1000 yards of where the ball fields were for over 50 years. Your descriptions of the buildings and layouts are inaccurate as well. The biggest error is stating it was torn down. Yes it was but only after humongous damage from an arson. From another's comments it was NEVER a prison(unless you count all us lil' ''convicts'' who used to go there). I attended there 1965-1973. My older brother was there 1954-1966. Our father was there 1933-1944. NONE of us ever heard any ghost stories murders etc. Again you composed a very entertaining story.
By the way Tabernacle School at one time named White Oak School is now the beautiful Tabernacle Soccer Complex and is ''haunted'' by hundreds of happy fun-loving kids almost all of whom came that way courtesy of the United States Marine Corps. The only ''unusual sighting'' may be the occasional descendant of a Palo Alto/Grants Creek/Belgrade/White Oak River native who actually attended the school. You are within your rights to concoct this tale friend, but we don't enjoy having our loving memories of our school treated this way. .
Comment by No One: Red Devil Viking, if you know it is untrue, then keep it to yourself. Other people can be idiots and believe it. It just sounds like you're trying to defend the school when they don't need it.
