We hear walking all the time even if the other tenants aren't home and have recorded death threats made directly to my self by the spirit. Shadows appear all the time. A fairly translucent man outfitted as the captain of a liner has been said to have been witnessed on numerous instances peeping through home windows in Kernersville on a dark night. Residents here argue that this ghost is that of a resident who had a house here in Kernersville a long time ago. The ghost of a young-looking man dressed in a confederate uniform was noticed mounding rocks by Cuddybum Branch. The appearance of the witness terrified the spirit who then faded away. One of the residents firmly claims that this ghost takes pleasure in scaring unwise people who come looking for ghosts in Kernersville. The phantom of a strapped up man emerged gazing at the water by Atkins Dam late in the night. The phantom spoke about revenging a homicide.
