The ghost of a gentleman having half his head missing can regularly be distinguished swallowing soda pop in the center of Buckskin Creek.

The phantom of a young lady wearing a blood-covered wedding dress has now and then been spotted looking down into the water at Back Creek on a dark night. If you listen to the locals,
 
    this ghost may perhaps be a famous yesteryear inhabitant of Knotts Island. One thing is for guaranteed, it's a terrifying ghost that should be steered clear of.

The ghost of a 9 feet high massive giant is occasionally witnessed chatting into the air in Mackay Island National Wildlife Refuge at the stroke of midnight. A lot of locals declare this ghost is probably the undeceased ghost of a local resident who used to have a home here in Knotts Island.
