An exceptionally creepy phantom emerged at The Basin before sunrise looking down into the water. Numerous accounts of this phantom have been reported. In any event, it's a bloodcurdling phantom that any sound person would not want to meet. The ghost of an aged female grasping a revolver was distinguished trying to verbalize something by a streetlamp in Kure Beach. This ghost is extremely active in this vicinity; there have been a few other sightings of this exact ghost.
