Lexington, North Carolina Ghost Pictures
We live in an old farmhouse outside of Lexington, on the edge of welcome. In the two months we have been here, both bedroom and bathroom doors (with hook latches, not modern knob locks) have been getting locked from the inside (with no one in them! ) on a regular basis.
We've had to take the doors off to open them. We regularly see 'people' walking past in our peripheral vision, both inside and outside the house, which is very startling. The craziest thing that has happened so far is that one day, my husband was standing at the bedroom window looking out, when the window suddenly shattered in a pattern that would indicate something had hit it.
It scared the pants off him. We ran outside to see if it was a rock, a bullet, or a bird... But there was nothing under the window. No rock, no shell casing, no dead bird. Nothing but grass for several hundred feet.
And we're a quarter mile off the road, way too far for it to have been something thrown from a car's tires. I think we may have a poltergeist. Here's a photo of the window:.
